This is my favorite MiniClip game--Snow Line. You draw a snow line with your marker and then Santa goes down it on his sled.

The Best Christmas Tree Ever with Ornaments
This is a picture of our Christmas tree this year. We decorate it with lots and lots of glass ornaments, like an ice cream cone one, or a Yoda one. You might not see the round ball ornaments because we always hide them way in the back. I don't know why!! We've had a lot of ornaments made by our family, like cookies. Don't eat them, they're stale! We also decorate with a lot of trains and airplanes. We have a special ornament that is a book that tells us Twas the Night Before Christmas. We also have one fish glass ornament. But my most favorite one is the one of the Scottish Santa.
This Christmas tree has a good spot for putting the ball ornaments--a giant hole! But the hole is in the back, so no one can see it, of course!

Schoolwork
Scott's note: I'm cross posting this for Eddie's blog. This is such a nice collection of his work.
As the school year draws to an end, more and more school work is coming home. Eddie has some neat stuff in his take-home folder as well. He did quite a few cool projects, the John James Audubon diary being my personal favorite.
Here's a short except of some of my favorite items, from among his science class and some of his reading and writing assignments.
Inside, you'll see a picture of a string quartet, which is from a book report on a book called Yang the Eldest and His Odd Jobs, by Lensey Namioka. It's a very good book, and Eddie enjoyed reading it very much. The last book report is on The Mystery on Blizzard Mountain, by Gertrude Chandler Warner. Also a very good book.
NOTE: The PDF file below is about 13 MB, for those with slow Internet connections.

The City of Taboo
The City of Taboo is a city on an island that is very hard to get to. There's not many ways. You have to take a ferry out there, or a cruise ship will stop there. It is off the coast of Peru. The mayor of this town is the woman that is wearing a purple sport coat. The pizzeria has a chef in the restaurant and has a cat lady as a waitress.
If you were to visit the City of Taboo, if you went during the time of Independence Day, you would see a lot of doors open during the day. They open the doors during the day. They really don't tell you why! They just do it!
The City of Taboo doesn't have very much attractions, but it has a few. Like it has a very small hospital, a very small pizzeria, and it doesn't have a school. They have to be taught at home. They are still working on trying to build some apartment buildings on top of other buildings. They're trying to earn money to build it.
Their bank is very protective of money. If you were going to live there, it's the best bank that you could choose from. All of the houses and buildings have water tight doors and windows in case of floods. Even the cars.
They're still working on trying to get money for a hotel too. They've made a lot of money for everything they want to work on. They also want to make a public school.
The City of Taboo has a gas station. The trucks that carry gas have tubes that run from the trucks that go down into the gas station where there's this big tank that holds all the gas. Then there's another tube that comes out and fills up all the cars. Most of it is robot controlled.
There's a health food store. That's the only place that you can get food. And they don't have enough room for any plants. At the pizzeria, they cook their pizza in an oven that absorbs heat on the bottom and the top, so it stays hot for the whole time that you eat it. They're still trying to earn money for a pet store.
Luke only built the dock, jail, and police station. I built all the rest.

Qwan Yin
Qwan Yin died this morning at 7:00am. We buried her in our backyard. She was sick and didn't make it through the sickness. She was always very friendly. She was very funny when she bumped up against your feet in the ball.Goodbye, and we'll miss you, Qwan Yin.
I'm going to get a new hamster this Saturday or Sunday.

Mom's Birthday Party
Mom had her birthday party today. These are some pictures from her party. There were lots and lots of people at Mom's party. My Dad planned everything. We had cake, hot dogs, and burgers, we swang on the swingset, we had lots and lots of fun. Lots and lots of people came. Like Jim and Lisa, Madeline and Olivia, Marisa and Justin, Megan and Mike, Eoin, Maura and Ronan, and Rachel Rose with her parents.
Mom turned 40 that day. She got lots of funny cards. She had a great time too.
The camera has this special mode that gives frames to pictures. All the girls liked the flower one.
Frank was at the party too. He was waiting for food! Whenever somebody dropped food on the ground, he dove at it!

Visit to Jim and Lisa
The other day we visited Jim and Lisa and this is their little daughter, Rachel Rose. She is very cute and she thinks Frank is very funny. Here is a video of her.
Here are some pictures at their house. The first one is Rachel. The second one is my dog running off the page. The third is their dining room table. We ate dinner at the table and we had kebabs. We had swordfish, chicken and beef. I like the beef. We also had bean salad and my mom's salad with spinach. I liked the bean salad. Then we had ice cream. My favorite ice cream was the brownie ice cream.

This is their dog, Mila. She has a double-barrel snotgun. She snorts a lot and sprays your face. This is some of their glass china. You can find it in their dining room.

Here is two bottles of spice up on the top glass shelf. There's a basket on the third shelf down nearby the china. It has birds all over it. That's a plant that they own. It was dead, but I asked my dad to put color to it to make it look like it wasn't dead. I picked the the color.

Car Show
Today we went to a car show, and we went with my friend, Rebecca, her mom and her friend, Jamie. For lunch we to the Tortilla Factory, and I had flounder. It was good! We watched Madagascar and Ruby (Jamie's dog) licked me on the head.
We saw lots of cars. They were cool. We also went on a moonbounce. And then we returned home.
Dad gave me a camera to use for the day, and here is a movie of all 88 pictures I took. I hope you like it.
